The Trump administration has a problem with science

Environmental Defense Fund: They’ve removed the word “Science” from the EPA’s Office of Science and Technology mission statement. They’ve dismissed and demoted climate scientists at the EPA and the Department of the Interior. They’ve even banned the use of the words “climate change” at the Department of Agriculture.

Now comes word that they may be censoring the alarming findings of the latest National Climate Assessment—an interagency review of the climate science and threats we face.

Please take action today: Go to the White House Petition Site and demand that they release the report without political revisions or interference.

This report is required by law to be released by August 18th. That gives us 10 days to deliver our strongest possible message to President Trump: you can’t alter scientific reality with white out. We have a goal to reach 100,000 signatures on this petition—and we need your name on it.

PLEASE NOTE: Signing petitions on the White House Petition Site is a two-step process. First you must add your name and email address. Then you must check your email inbox to confirm your submission by clicking a link in a bounce-back email. It’s important that you take both steps to make sure your name is counted.

So please take action today.

This report, compiled by 13 federal agencies and approved by the National Academy of Sciences, was paid for by your tax dollars. That means its findings—as alarming as they may be—belong to you.

We need your help to ensure President Trump and his administration won’t play politics with our right to know what the best available science is telling us about the growing threats of climate change.

So again, please take action today.

And don’t forget to confirm you submission to make sure your name is counted.

Together, we’re standing up and fighting back.

Thank you for your activism and support,
